I've been pining after a sleeveless biker for ages, amazing ones kept popping up but I could never decide. Anyway, an element of practicality arose as my well (to death) worn biker is looking a bit, well...worn! So when this didn't get any bids I thought, what's the harm in a fiver? I'm very much looking forward to styling it...especially when the weather's a little warmer and LFW has just been so inspiring.
Thinking about denim got me thinking about the new collaboration between Vero Moda (who have a history of pretty great colabs, cough Alexa, cough...) and Poppy Delevigne. These are some of my favourite shots from the collection. Now I know that when anyone thinks 'Delevigne' they think of the youngest, Cara...I mean I haven't been living under a rock, she is everywhere and I'm a fan...but I still think her older sis is worth a mention. I basically mean - I just have to have the denim floral shirt!
This is my casual take on s/s 13 harlequin trend - I searched 'harlequin' hopefully, thinking that I was only going to find fancy dress outfits. But amazingly I found this vintage beauty...I know much of the catwalk looks are monochrome, something I am a big fan of but as ever I was very tempted by all the pretty colours. Plus it was a steal at a fiver (for silk no less!).
The slip dress - for me, right now - the perfect saturday night outfit, but not styled in an obvious way..a grunge nighties twist to move the outfit away from simple sexy to a more interesting look. Obvious is never sexy anyway. Don't you think?
